For the New York example what is sent to the Google API is “New York,New York,Iowa,United States,50238” and for some reason that is not found, you can try entering that into the Google geolocate demo: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/geocoding-simple
There is no easy way to disable that message.

Yes, i still need to know what EXACTLY you are inputting, i am not sure if you are inputting it into the single address or also filling out the city/region fields. A video or screen shot would help.
