All seems to be working now, what changed?

This is a 3rd party plugin, there are many users using it so i’m sure it does not “destroy” sites, i guess it’s a conflict or something but we don’t handle support for it, please contact the developer here: http://sfcplugins.com/contact-us/

Ah ok, how did u “remove” it? Are you just not using it because it was not working or are the listings not locations based?

I take it the maps dont work either?

It’s a difficult one to say for sure, it all depends on what bugs show up, i would imagine all maps will be working ok tomorrow but the add listing map will be another story. We should know more tomorrow.

Thanks for the info, this was a hard find, the problem was a old line of code that that was checking the taxonomy for the word “tag” and if so it was treating it as a tag instead of a category. and heritage unfortunately had that and was causing problems, i have fixed this and updated the files on your install. the fix will be in the next release. You will have to save a listing for the map to work properly.

The google auto-complete there we have talked about but we have a auto complete there if you have advanced search and multilocations (has to be enabled) so you can auto-complete for country/region/city/hood so it would clash. We might do it in the future though. For the surrounding areas, just try adding a listing there and see what city it gets from the map marker move, it’s probably best to stick to that.

The dev has the maps loading with our markers but is still ironing out a few bugs, i’ll update you more tomorrow but it might be the start of next week before we have a finished solution.

Have you decided on a solution? If so does it do a like for like url such as /2016/04/image.jpg? It might be possible to just strip replace any media urls from the page out put.

I added a snippet of code to add back its own JS for the slider but it still does not look right, do you have a screenshot of how it is supposed to look? I can’t see any of our stuff adding the arrows back etc.

This is a bug that has been fixed and will be in the next release of addons, for now if you provide wp-admin details we will fix it for you or you can simply delete the “geodir_licence_keys” option from your wp_options table.
