This was a problem with the new facebook permissions, a new social importer has been released to fix this.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Dale,
The problem with the update should be solved now.
The problem with the ssl on normal site is due to the www. if the url contains the www. then it might throw that error, just remove the www. and all should be ok. (we are working on a redirect, not as simple as htaccess on a nginx server)
If you are still having problem let me know.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi McDonald,
Are you trying to notify the CRM that a customer has paid or are u trying to pay via the CRM?
If you can explain exactly what u are trying to achieve i can advise better.
Stiofan
Accepted u on skype.
Hi,
The first part for importing from facebook works for me as a subscriber now.
The second part, posting to facebook I am not sure what u are doing wrong, the exact error facebook is returning is “(#283) Requires extended permission: manage_pages”
When you are granting permission to the app u must let it manage ur pages or it will not work, you must also be signing up with the USER account that owns the page. I would try removing the app permissions from your user account and then authorising it again from the backend of GD making sure it asks for permission to manage pages.
If this does not work then i think the only way would be for you to give me temp access to your facebook account.
Let us know,
Thanks,
Stiofan
Hi Richard,
I have not seen this, might be a conflict with your theme or another plugin, if you can provide wp-admin and FTP in a private reply we will take a look.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Thanks for your understanding Jim, i hope to see u again soon 🙂
Stiofan
This has been resolved via skype and the changes will be in the next release of events.
Thanks,
Stiofan
I have added u on skype, get me when ur online.

Hi Stuart,
I am not sure there is still a problem, this is an old post.

Hi Jim,
Thanks for the info, usually this is just a case of adding some compatibility code to change the template wrappers but in the case of this theme it is using alot of javascript to do things like smooth scrolling and setting the visibility of the logo. It’s not that it could not be made 100% compatible but it would take alot longer.
I would suggest you test out GD on another theme, something like 2012 or even try our own theme, you can download it from here: https://github.com/GeoDirectory/GeoDirectory_framework
We also have several shortcodes which could be used so not to use our own page templates.
Let me know if i can help further,
Thanks,
Stiofan
yes please add me to skype if u have it and we can go over it, if not please provide wp-admin, FTP and DB access here and i will look further.

OK i got to the bottom of this, your server was specifically sending the encoding an non utf-8 for the ajax requests, i have now specifically told it to always use utf-8 and to override server settings.
Please check now.
Thanks,
Stiofan
Thanks for the info Dmitry, i am travelling today and have to leave now, i will look at this first thing tomorrow morning.
(if you have PHP 5.4 or less you might want to try to upgrade?, this seems to be the problem function: http://php.net/manual/en/function.htmlentities.php)
Thanks,
Stiofan
