Possible performance issue with events plugin

    For sometime now I’ve been troubleshooting some speed issues with my site. Using the P3 plugin profiler to help, I narrowed down the main culprit to the GD Events plugin.

    Presently, I actually have no events in the system, except one draft item and one category, but I do have intentions to use this plugin in the near future.

    Attached are the results of two completed tests, one with and the other without the GD Events plugin activated. The difference in number of queries is rather high.
