I have tested twice now and both times it has worked for me, i suggest you enable my “do not use” package and test that. I can’t help if i can’t replicate the problem.

there is no such script at the moment, you would have to export direct from the DB for now.

You are right it is a bug i guess, for this i have added the ability to use the category slug also which always has to be unique, this will be in the next version 1.3.5

The sort options for search was a bug however the results are always sorted by distance if you have a near value.
