Hi Mike,

1. You don’t have the places CPT set to allow adding from the front end under GD>Design>Navigation>allow CPT from front end
2. Your add listing link does not point to a specific CPT so GD uses the first default one (th one with the lowest order ID) under GD>Custom Post types, which is the places CPT so it redirects home as its not allowed to be added.

Either add the places CPT to be allowed to be added, or make the add listing link CPT specific, or change the order of the CPT so places is not default (lowest number)

If your theme has different page templates you can switch them in the page template settings, if not you could make a new page template.

I have added this fix in core GD but i still have to check it does not affect anything else, if not this fix will be in the next release.

If you can provide wp-admin i will check if there are any specific queries causing problems on the home page or if its resources.

If you could also provide the server specifications it will help so see if its powerful enough for the number of listings/plugins you have.

Hi Eduardo,

We have no special recommendations, if it works with WordPress then it will work with GD.
GD Booster will be phased out with GDv2 as it had a special purpose to not cache somethings in GDv1 but this is no longer needed and GDv2 should work with any caching.

Yes but its even simpler in GDv2, you can use the widget/shortcode “GD post badge” to create your own badge depending on any field 🙂
