#1. We are not interested to region & city field to the add listing form.
#2. it was giving “default address” warning. I disabled auto complete, and now it is ok.
#3. The main question, County need to be mandatory field. That question still pending. I’m working on it. I hope I’ll be able to override this issue.It’s ok for now.
I wish, no new issue arise.I think, I got it.
– This is not a normal directory site.
– We don’t need maps anywhere. don’t need distance search.
– I could built the site with custom post type (other than using WPGD), but I’m using it because of few ready functionality like Search autocomplete.
Also I thought, client may ask for mode facility in the future which I can get from WPGD.Few of the project requirements are:
– Coverage: all of the UK which is England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
– County: Need a browse by county functionality. So, I used neighborhood as county (translated). And I built the list (on page http://pre.shinydgn.com/bsw/browse-by-location/) with custom query.
– County: The county could be a custom field. Don’t need to be linked with address. But I need to to build a page similar to http://pre.shinydgn.com/bsw/browse-by-location/ to let user browse by county.
– I have 141 counties (pre defined).
so (1) County as required field (2) browse listings by county.Problems & Questions:
(a) With Neighborhood:
– Neighborhood/County should be a “required” field
– When using Neighborhood, It warns entering address outside of default location(b) with custom field:
– Is custom field a taxonomy? How can I build functionality to browse by items of the custom field?(c) how about adding a custom taxonomy?
Which could be easier? a, b ,c?

In a custom function,
I need to get few nearest listing IDs related to a given category.ok. I think location-manager can help.
I saw location manager, which is mainly for wider area or multiple location to cover.
But we are limited to one region only.Thank you Stiofan for your reply.
On my PC, when I use try with other themes, the issue is still there.
But, I was trying to reproduce the issue on my server to show you. the issue is not there on the fresh installation.
I guess, its coming with some settings of that plugin.Go to Settings > Reading > Front page displays
on the “Front page” field Select another page (which you want to make a homepage).
