We have the exact same issue and have spent hours trying to figure out how to add an ADD AN EVENT page to our menu, as well as a SEE EVENTS page to our site. It seems easy for LISTINGS (Places), because you just go to the Permalink tab and select what you want under GEODIRECTORY PAGES, but there is not option for EVENTS, and we’ve been all over every option else trying to figure this out. Need to do it fast!

Geodirectories were the only WordPress plugins that really met our needs and fit our vision for this site. We are planning on adding a few more enhancements in the near future.
No, we were doing the update directly through the Plugins section of WordPress.
We have now added the licensing keys in as described in the GeoDirectory control panel.
In the WordPress plugins section it does still say, “Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.”
We think we are set, however in the documentation you provided it says, “In future, your Addons will be able to be updated with a single click, just like any other WordPress plugins.” We are looking for exactly where we should do the single click.
Auto update would be great, but it says next to our current plugin version on WordPress (Installed Plugins section), “Automatic update is unavailable for this plugin.”
Interesting suggestion about deleting old version. Not sure of the best way to delete the old version, and if this would wipe out any settings we already have.
