    Hi Guust,

Having an issue with SSL with respect to UsersWP. No padlock.

Seems to be picking up the xml namespace xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/2000/svg” as an insecure link, as per the attached.

What is the fix? Can it be removed or changed?

    Regards,
    Ian.

    Hi Gents,

That seems to be working now. Thanks very much for your efforts. I really appreciate good support and service and you provided that and over a weekend. Very impressed.

    Regards,
    Ian.

The site is still not right. I don’t really need Buddypress or UsersWP, all I really want to do is the simplest way to allow users to create a User account, claim their listing and when they log in to have a landing page that enables them to edit their listing.

Interesting (and thanks for getting back so promptly).
So I am an admin with the user name ianadmin. I tried Guust’s plan (unchecking Buddypress diversions to start with as per Alex’s recommendation), logged out and back in again and got a 404 page error message. Checking the address I saw https://nadc.org.uk/profileianadmin, which didn’t seem right so I manually adjusted that to https://nadc.org.uk/profile/ianadmin and I could see my profile as described with listings that could be edited.
I tried the same as my test Author account (iancam) and got a similar thing: https://nadc.org.uk/profileiancam, the backslash was missing and a page 404 error. I adjusted to https://nadc.org.uk/profile/iancam and I was taken to the profile page on login.
Is the missing backslash an issue with the plugin or the way I have set things up?
