Hi – thanks for prompt response, but I don’t think that is accurate.
I’m seeing slow admin page loading anecdotally
I have Query Monitor installed – it is showing cumulative times for loading as well as individual HTTP requests which support what I am experiencing – when I disabled geodirectory addons all times reduced and pages loaded more quickly
this is a multisite install with geodir activated on primary site and a subsite (not network activated)
upon page refresh… for both Network Admin and Site Admin
admin Dashboard shows two http requests from wpgeodirectory and names the first addon activated (ie if advanced search deactivated then ajax dupe alert is the component)
admin Plugins page shows over 20 HTTP requests from wpgeodirectory which are slowish

http://wpgeodirectory.com/updates/there might be a cron that checks your site once an hour, but admin page load generates multiple HTTP requests
I wouldn’t make a big deal about this – but the pages are visibly slow and you have to wait – like 10+ seconds for the admin page to load when geodir activated, not nearly that much when deactivated.
Hi –
This is a HUGE issue…
I’ve got about a million (actually more than that) posts to publish… for SEO and a dozen other reasons I need to spread these out and have about a million (exaggeration) other projects going on so can’t take hours a day to keep track of what CSV’s have been posted.
not sure what the issue with this is… I saw threads about doing an update over a year ago to allow ‘draft’ — was not following WordPress protocols an oversight or something by design for some reason…?
what files need to be edited? If I have to I’ll find either another directory or hire someone to modify geodir
thanks
September 21, 2016 at 12:51 pm in reply to: Adding Instructions on Add Listing page… Do's and Dont's #270400Hi thanks – that was the clarification/explanation I was looking for.
in lieu of the suggested CSS above, I used this to hide long/lat entries on the front end
#geodir_post_latitude_row, #geodir_post_longitude_row {display:none;}
is there a hook & filter action to move the instructions to above the map “Click on “Set Address on Map” and then you can also drag pinpoint to locate the correct address” (as shown on attached image) — I tried to find the php file for layout but couldn’t isolate it
thanks
September 20, 2016 at 7:49 am in reply to: Adding Instructions on Add Listing page… Do's and Dont's #269261Hi – thanks for prompt response
what I was hoping to determine is what happens when people manually change the coordinates… why is it bad… should we really hide the long/lat edit boxes?
thanks, that will work fine.
thank you for the detailed reply – I’ll dig into it see what fancy stuff I can make
Thanks – I’ve got a few more things I’m wondering ‘why!??!’ — like some links not working, and the near me button not working in Firefox (which leads to thoughts of script conflicts)
I’ll do some housecleaning and testing and will ping you again for help. appreciate it
thanks, look forward to hearing more about this
the sample didn’t fare too well… and now can’t edit, try again
<div itemscope itemtype="http://schema.org/Organization"> <a itemprop="url" href="http://www.example.com/">Home</a> <img itemprop="logo" src="http://www.example.com/logo.png" /> </div>
Hi Thanks –
missed seeing the description field.
September 8, 2016 at 9:35 am in reply to: New CPT or PO/MO or Template Edit or ? to change headings? #262522thanks.
slick – I might have been over thinking it without enough sample data to see the difference
thanks
I do have some follow-ups to this however…
If I send visitor to the Location page because they selected the location using the Change Location navigation…
how do they see Categories and Listings (featured or otherwise) for the location?
thanks
thanks for prompt reply, what was once lost has now been found
