Hi again,

unfortunately the buddypress forum has deleted my thread and within bbbpress I am not able to add a thread for whatever reason.

I found in search results the topic that the theme in use will have a problem, but I am not able to solve this as I am not a developer.

Please find this info may helpful to proceed for helping me to solve this issue.

Hi Guust,

thanks and I understand but thought you may have had same issues and know to solve.

Unfortunately I was unable to do posts at bbpress suppport (not sure why not allowed for me) and posted now a request on buddypress support thread to may get help from them.

Let’s see what happens.

P.S. within https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/known-issues/#bp-global-search you mentioned “BuddyPress Global Search” is incompatible with geodirectory. Is this an extra plugin or do you mean that widget “(bbPress) Forum Search Form” will also not work and this will be the issue I face with?

Hello Guust,

thanks for getting back to me.

Well I checked i.e. forum-index page and this is set as public so not sure where to change the specific forum page as this is delivered from buddypress itself not as a usual page to may change/set then the page status for.

Any Ideas where to find this setting for forum itself?

Hi Stiofan,

well I don’t know either.
I did a research in bbpress support and found this thread and used their info.

1. I have dropped all other plugins into “plugin_off” folder and still have the issue, also
2. I switched the theme by using “theme test drive” plugin and again same issue.

not sure but it seems to exist a setting within bbpress which may cause this kind of info stated?

sorry I have again a problem.

about 1. search form problem
I have just added a testing thread within forum adventure travel and searched for this for search function testings, but instead of content displayed, then I get the info:

This content is password protected. To view it please enter your password below:

Any ideas why this is now a password protected area and when using password it is not accepted to proceed further.

Hi Guust,

now only no 1 is left to solve.

While autoptimize setting is made for “Force JavaScript in <head>?” (reason for activation – if not set other used plugins are not working proper), it has no influence, even if I deactivate all JavaScript Options “Optimize JavaScript Code?”

Am I in need to exclude the style.css within autoptimize “Exclude CSS from Autoptimize:” settings?

thanks for that fast feedback.

1. I have added this into child theme css, but unfortunately the CSS is working only when autoptimize is not active.

When activated then the it is not working.
