Hi, i’ve now got this working, so thanks for your help. It was caused by an ini file that wasn’t configured correctly for this server. Can you let me know how to disable the error reporting on the site for geodirectory as i’m getting a couple appearing on the front page, thanks.

Hi, it wasn’t the category icon that’s the problem anymore, just the default icon on the map. When you try to fill in the information for the new place listing the map doesn’t show the pin, when you add the address and postcode it zooms in on the correct area, though still no pin shows up and you cant drag it to reposition.
Hi, the problem is that they don’t want the bank details to be available. Their process is that the user submits their directory listing. They are then invoiced and once this has been paid then they activate their listing.
Can this currently be done? thanks.
Thanks, though surely this shouldn’t keep redirecting the user away from a page on the website? as it makes it almost unusable.
I did the fix in this post, then opened a category and updated it (without changing anything) and it worked. 2 files need to be updated

Thanks, i tried that though it didn’t seem to work, then i opened a place category and just pressed update then the icons appeared again on the front end.
Another issue that the site keeps redirecting me to a “popular places” page when i go to a category page.
Eg. when i go to the B&B link at:
http://visitmidlothian.org.uk.gridhosted.co.uk/places/bbs/
a few seconds later it will reload the page and take me to:
Hi, i’ve tried this update too, but it didn’t fix the issue i had with the icons, thanks.
Hi did you manage to get anywhere with this customisation?, as i’m looking to do something the same as this, where the listing for non members is a basic one, then when a signed up member they get to display their number, web address etc, thanks

I found the setting to disable it and it works fine now, thanks for the great support.
Is this the best way to disable these?, will it not still load the associated scripts etc for them on the page, therefore affecting the load speed?
