Hi ALex, can you please try and add a single select to my Destinations as it still doesn’t have an option to add it to the search bar?
The site isnt being visited at the moment so no problem trying things.
I have added one called test and you will see there is no option to add to search bar.
Thanks
Greg
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Alex, you are not answering my question. I have spent many hours in the Advanced search tab and understand that. Thanks for clarifying that the custom fields is now automatic is it isn’t obvious in any of the documents that this is the case.
My issue is I have created several “custom fields” and I want to display at least 2 of them that are single select drop-downs in the advanced search bar.
However as per my last post and the images I added, I am unable to see any check box (see attached images) within these custom fields “Advanced settings” that allow me to make it appear in the search bar. This only seems possible with the categories field however in the previous version you could add other custom fields to the search bar.
Is this no longer a feature or am I missing something?
Thanks
GregHi Alex, I am trying to add “custom Fields” to the “advanced search widget” however it seems I can only add the category. In the V1 documents here: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/gd-search/#custom it explains how you can add additional custom field filters to the search. Is this no longer possible (as none of the fields have the option to “include this field in advanced search”)? Thanks Greg

How do I get this to show?
Thanks
Greg
Hi Kiran, the categories is not the issue.
What I am wanting is for the map to geo-locate to the coordinates relevant for the destination e.g. the page: http://wind-hounds.com/destinations/mauritius/anse-la-raie/
to show the map as per the attachment…
Is there some way of forcing the coordinates of the map to display?
If this isn’t feasible out of the box, do you think this is something a developer could make happen?
Thanks
Greg
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Alex, thank you for your reply.
I am still not sure this is going to work in my environment?
Here is a page as an example: http://wind-hounds.com/destinations/mauritius/anse-la-raie/ where I have filtered listings by tags & category but the map isn’t centering on the location relevant to the filtered listing(s).
Is there some code that can be added to the map short-code such as coordinates to tell the map to centre on that locations?
Thanks
GregHi Kor, that is perfect!
Thank you
Greg
This reply has been marked as private.Hi Alex, I worked out the issue with the tags…no spaces in the tag name!
Just need an answer to the question regarding filtering the map location.
Thanks
Greg
Hi Alex, I tagged a couple of listings “Anse La Raie” and “Le Morne” and tried this short-code [gd_listings layout=1 tags=”Anse La Raie”] but it doesn’t filter out the Le Morne listing.
Am I doing something wrong?
Also, is there any way of filtering the map in the same manner or by location?
Thanks
Greg
