I don’t understand what you mean by “all” locations or real locations or a location switcher. So sorry for my ignorance.
Have just published another place URL – http://www.inenglish.biz/listing/france/bretagne/persquen/holidays/your-holiday-home-from-home-in-brittany/ and tried to share it to FB and got this
This is one that has never worked although there are others
http://www.inenglish.biz/listing/france/midi-pyrenees/nogaro/businessservices/virtual-assistant/
Thanks
Me again… is does the same in Chrome too
Also…. I don’t know if it’s related but my Home page, which is set to the Geodirectory homepage randomly disappears and replaces itself with the old WordPress home page
Yes Guust and Stiffen – I’ll attach a screen shot. I was using Safari, and going to try with Chrome today. The first image is where I share from, the second is what I would expect to see next before sharing to FB and when I see this it works ok.
The third image is what I often see when there’s an error as there are no pictures and the transfer to FB shows “share.es” in the box where the picture and details should be.
Hope that makes sense…Hi Stiofan & Paulo
Resolved, it worked when we put the code at the end of the function but didn’t take until the 3rd try. Don’t know what the problem was but seems to have righted itself.
Hi Stiofan & Paulo
We’d already done what you suggest. Should the code be added at the start of the function.php or at the end? Our Magazine Basic theme (we are not using GD Theme) is at the start so does this need to load first or does GD code have to load first?
Paulo … what can I say but thanks … such a simple mistake. Sorry
We’ve gone through every plugin in turn and also run the site purely with GD. With only the following operating it still does not work.
GeoDirectory – Version 1.2.7
GeoDirectory Advance Search Filters. – Version 1.0.6
GeoDirectory Claim Manager – Version 1.0.6
GeoDirectory Custom Post Types – Version 1.0.7
GeoDirectory Location Manager – Version 1.1.3Paulo, I looked at your Demo area but that doesn’t have Pinpoint on it. Also not sure what you are suggesting we do with your Demo to solve our problem?
If it is not outside plugins have you any other ideas or point us towards which bit of code to look at?
Thanks
Thanks Simone, I’ll work through each plugin and find the culprit.
Must say that I didn’t do the recent GD update as saw lots of people having problems with crashes …. possibly do those updates first before going over my non-GD stuff.
Hi Guust, I noticed you asked Paulo about editing/change the “Business Owner?” text and see you answer above but is there any other way of doing and also adding and Icon or other more obvious “button’ for the claimant to click?
I’m about to start testing this feature to make sure it works and have customised all emails/request messages but feel that the section where we want people to claim from is neither obvious or explanatory (Would be good to have an instructions page so they understand what they are claiming and what it commits them to).
Hooray !!! It works (apart from one issue which I’ll post as a seperate discussion.)
It wasn’t clear that you have to keep ALL the original field names in the same order and then add the new ones afterwards before importing. We were treating it as a CRM where it would automatically identify the fields and content regardless of order.
Thanks Paulo.
This reply has been marked as private.OK everyone we’ve exported out test data as a CSV via PHP Admin (see attached).
The big mystery now is that the data does not match the header fields eg:Look at columns ‘V’ onwards. “post_latitude” is the field name for ‘address’. “geodir_timing” is the field name for ‘latitude number’. Everything is out of sync.
Any ideas as we tried a test IMPORT using the fields names and got the following: “11 out of 11 record(s) could not be inserted due to invalid/blank post type. Only use geodirectory’s post type.”
