    I created a 100% discount code: free100.

The user applies it and it shows $0.00. OK

Then a proceed to PayPal button.

    Why?

Click proceed to PayPal and Fail. PayPal have problems right now.

    Fail.

Why if the discount is 100%, the system sends you to PayPal?

    Thanks.

So I can test, is the package recurring or one-time?

OK, I will test ot but from what I recall Paypal can’t have a 0 charge when starting a subscription. If you test with any positive amount it should work. I will check on that myself and get back to you.

The workaround is the free trial, settings for which are in the package.

I tried with 50% discount also and same result.

    Fail.

If there is a 100% discount then the system should hide the proceed to PayPal and publish the place directly with a 0.00 invoice.

I hear what you are saying but for a recurring subscription, that is totally setup at Paypal so, if it was skipped, then there would be no recurring followup.

    Discount 50%
    Discount: Just 1st payment
    Recurring: yes

    Those are GD options.

    Places Settings:
    – Anual Package Price: $100

    Invoicing Settings:
    – Discounts:
    –Code: mycode
    –Percentage: 50%
    –Item: Anual Package

For recurring apply to: First payment only
First payment only: Apply this discount to only first payment of the recurring invoice.

    Those are the settings.

50% or 100% or anything used fails.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

Can you first test in PayPal sandbox mode? Also, provide the admin details in private reply so that we can do some troubleshooting. It should not redirect to PayPal for order total 0(zero) in normal or recurring invoices. Regarding an error, while redirecting on PayPal, it may be possible that you have not configured your PayPal account. Let us know the admin details and we will have a look with our PayPal test credentials.

    Regards,
    Patrik

There must be some conflicts or issue with your site as it works for our site well. If you can clone the live site and provide details would help to find and resolve the issue. If someone else had the same problem then they might have created a ticket for the same.

    Regards,
    Patrik
