Hi, I’m posting here rather than in individual plugin threads because I have 3 plugins that are causing an Internal Server Error when activated, and I’m then locked out of my wp-admin.
The plugins concerned are advanced search, event manager and location manager. They’re all the latest because I only just joined Premium a couple of days ago.
How am I able to use these plugins?

    Richard

    HI RIchard,

do you hav an error log handy? Whenever yu have a server error, in the errorlog there should be logged the reason.

Knowing the reason will make it easier to debug.

    Please let us know,

    Thanks

    Richard,

Only way to disable these plugins is to get in your control panel like cPanel with your hosting provider and get in File Manager then go in wp-content folder then plugins folder then find these 3 folders, click them and delete it

Then you can be able to log in the wp-admin again then re install them 🙂

    Hello Richard,
I renamed the plugin folder via ftp and then from backend I have checked.
You had Geodirectory (core) not updated, so when you updated the addon, it gave you that errors. I’ve updated it and now the website is fine with no errors. Please check your other plugins, I don’t know what you had previously activated (I only activated GD and addons now)

Thanks Simone, I thought I’d updated the core, but obviously not!
