When I change a test listing I’m working with and hit preview before saving, I get this error: 400 Bad Request nginx I’m certain it has to do with the fact that the url is: https://supportyourtown.online/places/%country%/%region%/%city%/uncategorized/130-revision-v1/

Sometimes when I hit save it works fine, but not all the time.

At first I couldn’t get the same error on other listings, but just now I get an “Oops. That page can’t be found” error when trying to preview and this is the url:
    https://supportyourtown.online/places/united-states/california/felton/uncategorized/181-autosave-v1/

Interestingly as it’s trying to load the preview and I can see the url it’s trying to get to. It’s correct, then changes and I get the error.

When I save and try again, I still get the 404 page.

I just tried the first one again, and this time I get the 404 page and not the 400 error.

Needless to say, this will annoy users. So it needs to be fixed. But how?

Try resaving your permalinks. That is a good place to start.

Make sure you change the Details page setting, save, then change it back.

If that doesn’t work share credentials in a private reply so we can take a look.

That seemed to work. I want to try it a few more times though, so please don’t close this. It required changing and saving the details page to make it kick in. I actually had to do that twice. The first time it got the 404 page instead of the 400. Then changed and saved it again and it worked. Thanks.

It’s better, but I just tried again with another listing to preview without saving and I got the 404 message and the url was https://supportyourtown.online/places/united-states/california/santa-cruz/uncategorized/113-autosave-v1/

It shouldn’t even have uncategorized in there because it does have a category. I’m afraid if you came to look now, it may work for you and you may think it’s fine. Let me see if I can find some consistency first.

Are you adding listings from the frontend ? Using the add-listing page?
