    Hello dear support team,

Unfortunately, the 404 errors have reappeared in the translations.

I switched the permalinks back and forth several times. No effect. See screenshot hospitals DE and EN. The link is ok and also in the backend everything looks normal.

No new PlugIn was installed. I only translated the texts of articles recently.

E.g. in the location categories, (Original Language)
    https://altea.me/gesundheit-medizin/kategorie/krankenhaus-klinik-hospital/

    English – 404 Error
    https://altea.me/en/health-sanitary/kategorie/hospitals-1/

But also in the normal search.
    https://altea.me/search/ (original language)
    https://altea.me/en/search/ (English)

Kiran could fix the same problem for me already once, but I don’t know what he did exactly. So I am slightly desperate, because Google now sees only 404 errors in the translations that are already crawled. Maybe you have an idea.

A good start into the day – Mark

    HI Kiran,

thank you. I was able to solve the problem. You were right about your guess. The culprit was an update of WPML itself.

Here are some infos for similar requests to you.

WPML a few days ago apparently a major update to version 4.3 was done at WPML Multilingual CMS and also updates for Strings and Yoast SEO Multilingual.

A lot of users had problems, especially users with the Wow Shop and the WMPL support seems to be very stressed right now, I feel really sorry for them. Apparently the update wasn’t tested well enough.

Meanwhile there is a Hot Fix 4.3.1 which doesn’t solve all problems.

For me it was mainly the update of the Yoast SEO Multilingual that produced the 404 Errors. I deactivated it now. More info here.
