404 requested url not found

I was hosting my site on godaddy and found it frustratingly slow so I moved it onto my own LAMP server, I migrated it according to the instructions I found on wordpress’s codex site.

After making all necessary changes I find myself with one issue, the home page loads and I have access to the admin page as well but any other links on the site I press gives me a 404 error.

I changed the permalinks to default and this allows me to navigate to the pages listing my CPT’s but clicking on any listing only takes me back to the home page. Reverting the permalinks to /%postname%/ brings me back to the original issue where none of the links work.

Apart from the wordpress migration instructions is there anything on the GeoDirectory side that I need to change or adjust after migration?
