A/c activation emails not being received

    Hello!

    New users to my directory ain’t getting any emails for activating their account even after I click “Resend activation email”.

    Earlier too these emails were being delayed by several hours. When I contacted you, I was told that it was my server issue. But strangely, other emails for new listing submissions and approvals goes out instantly from my server. So I don’t think it’s a server issue.

    But for some days, activation emails ain’t going out at all. However other emails are working as usual. (I didn’t change anything at my end except performing the regular plugin updates)

    Hi Ashutosh,

    Thanks for your post. Before we troubleshoot this further for you, could you please install the “Email Log” plugin and see if the emails are being sent out. https://wordpress.org/plugins/email-log/

    Yes, I’ve one Email Log plugin by Sudar installed and had verified its logs.

    Are the emails being created, and listed in the logs?

    Yes sir, all other sent emails are being listed in logs EXCEPT the activation emails.

    I’ll create and share FTP details shortly so that you can have a look yourself.

    Hi,

    This was an issue before the last update and it fixed in the last update so it should be resolved for you. Also, I can see that the emails sent from your server are delayed but the email log is showing the email with the activation link for newly registered user I have created just now.

    Please check with your hosting provider for email and you can try to register more users by yourself and check the email log and let me know if you face the same issue again.
