Activating sitepress-multilingual-cms crashes WP after upgrading to V2

    Hi,

    I just upgraded to V2 on a staging WP installation (subdomain). All went well with the upgrade, but when I activate sitepress-multilingual-cms, WP crashes. I need to manually delete the plugin to get WP back and running.
    Also getting very strange behavior of the V2 installation, no search menu, 500 errors…
    What am I doing wrong?

    The Multilingual add-on is also needed with V2 to work with WPML.

    I flagged your topic for the developers to see if there is anything else in your install that is causing issues.

    Thanks. I have installed and activated the Multilingual add-on but wp still crashes when activating sitepress-multilingual-cms. It is working fine on production website running GD v1.

    Solved. This was caused by Softaculous’ WordPress staging. Did it with Duplicator and works fine.
