Add a field with the Venue name (with link to place listing if they have one)

Hi,

how would I add the name of the venue to the event as there are 2 different possibilities:

1. people that just post an event and don’t have a place listing.
In this I could just use a custom text field

2. people that have a place listing
In this case it would be great to have the name of the venue displayed as a link to the place listing. Maybe a field where people type in the first 2 or 3 characters of their place listing and then they can choose to which place they want to link in case they have more than 1 location or place listing.

(The screenshot is from our old Joomla site) On the front it would display as a link.
