Add a listing without first registering

    Hi is it possible for a user to add a listing without first registering

    For example when a user comes along and clicks “add place” it would show the form to add a place rather than first the registration page?

    Not possible, only registered users can add a post, that is how wordpress works.

    With customisation that should be able to be changed, but then there is no possibility for the guest poster to edit their listing etc.

    What about having registration fields in the Add listing page if not registered yet?

    Wordpress requires registration first, and then posting.
    The way the default settings of GD work, is that a new user can add a listing at the same time as registering in a simple 2 step process: register and submit: no need to activate or verify accounts, that is as simple as it can be.
