Add Calendar and Events to Details

Is there any way to add the calendar and entents list to a tab on the events page. I tried with the shortcodes but they just display as a shortcode. I’ve added the tab but not finding much in the docs for the events or calendar. I added the function:

if($tab_index =='my_new_tab_kal')
	{
		echo "[gd_event_calendar]";
	}

Now I just need the calendar.

Also, if someone is logged in, is the calendar event linked to their listing?
