    1. After adding a new tab in details page, I would like to have the new tab listed under “Show in what locations”, as a new output location. How do I do that?

    2. After adding a new output location to the list of places a custom field can be output, how do I output the custom field info into the CONTENT ARE OF THE NEW TAB created in No. 1 above.

    3. Once I add a new tab, how do I re-order the tabs so that my new tab comes in-between the default GD tabs?

    4. When I create a field set as a Details Page Own Tab, the field set tab is displayed as the last tab by default. How can I re-order the new field set tab to place it in-between the default tabs?

Most folks use the More Info tab, simply because it already exists, and then you can use the options in “Show in what locations”

If you are really interested in this you should upgrade to GDV2 because you can add as many tabs as you like through the Tabs UI, then drag and drop fields into them.

With GDV2 you can do whatever you want by editing the WP Page that serves as the GD Detail template using just shortcodes. It saves a lot of effort.

If you want to do this in GDV1, there are a number of ways to customize it, depending on your skills as a developer.
