    I allow users to add event from front end, however, the Edit Listing Detail section, category drop down showing Places categories rather than Event categories, despite the top section already showing Event date time input.

    Please advise

    This can happen when the addlistong page has the add listing shortcode. The page selected for Add Listing in GD permalinks should not have the add listing shortcode. Also make sure the page does not have a parent page. Check and let us know.
