Add listing and validate business owner

    Hello,

    When a user wants to claim he is the business owner of a listing, he has to fill a form with his phone number and a message so that the admin can contact him before the validation.

    But when a user adds a listing and tells that he is the business owner directly in the “add listing form”, he does not fill these informations and it does not appears in the “Listing claims” list. I just see that I can choose to publish or not his listing. It seems like I do not have to validate the fact that he is the business owner.

    Is it normal ? Is it possible to make it appear on the listing claims list ?

    It is not possible to make all new listings appear in the ‘claim listings’ area.

    Claim Listings is like ‘temporary’ holding area for the relationship between users and listings.

    In most cases, site managers go one of two ways to make use of the feature:

    1. Site manager allows users to add listings from the front end, AND also the site manager adds listings and allows users to claim listings OR
    2. Site manager does NOT allow users to add listings from the front end, site manager adds all the listings, and ALL listings must be claimed.

    If the concern is moderation, the usual recourse is to set new listings to “Draft” status to review them before they are finally published.
