add listing – city please wait

    Hi,

    When i type the address and select from the drop down menu, it finds country/region/city for all european countries. But when i type an address in Turkey, it doesn’t find the city. It shows “please wait” all the time. (attached image)

    I searched in forum for that but couldn’t find related topic. How can i solve that?

    Try dragging the marker and see what happens.

    Hi,

    I’ve flagged this for Stiofan.

    I’m sure we went through Turkish regional settings with another user, but probably we didn’t solve all problems.

    Yes i was working with a woman from Turkey but she did not get back to me.
    Google does not think Turkey has regions, it is the same for a handful of countries and we can usually fix it.

    What we need is a list of regions of Turkey and a array or post/zipcodes that belong to those regions.

    I would be happy to wrk with you over skype (text) if you want to resolve this?

    I prepared attached excel which includes regions, cities and postcodes in Turkey.

    Hi Anil,

    That is a great start, i checked the data and there are several duplicate entries for the post codes pointing to different regions such as “03000”. Is this a mistake or does that post code span different regions? (i stripped city names)

    I get this data from governance website, but as you said there are mistakes. I checked all one by one and fixed the mistakes. Attached file, you can find clear data. I hope that one will solve this issue 🙂

    Hi Anil,

    Thanks for the info, can you please check it here: http://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/ You will need to register there to test. Please check several places, you can simply drag the map marker to places and check fi the region/city are correct. I am not sure about cities but i looked to me that some towns were actually showing the city as a city far away. Please let me know if findings.
