When adding an Event Address, Google Maps is loaded at the bottom.

However, when adding data in the “Address” field, it pulls up an error from Google:

“This page can’t load Google Maps correctly.”

I’m not sure how/where the problem lays or which setting to adjust to make it work?

    Hi Romeo,

Thanks for your reply. Let’s perform a conflict test on your Website. Eg. Deactivate all non-gd plugins and see if it works. Let us know how it goes.

    Thanks!

My impression is that the API key used doesn’t have all permissions needed enabled.

Could you please try to generate a new API key using the generate key button in design > map?

Let us know how it goes.

    Thank you

    The problem has come back.

It was working last night, after I did a lot of work on my site.

This morning, I have added the GD Custom Post Types add-on and changed the label of the Events>Reviews tab.

I’ve made a couple of adjustsments in GD settings to remove star ratings, but other than that, there’s no reason it should have changed.

I generated a new API key but that’s not resolved it.

    Any ideas?

It looks like the google cloud account needs billing information now to be attached to the API projects in use.

Go ahead and do that and let us know how it goes.

Aha, thanks for that; enabling billing (and adding a billing profile) to Google seems to have solved it.
