    Do you have add listing enabled under GD>design>navigation>Allow post type to add from frontend?

    You need set permalinks to postname: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/basic-installation/#permalink

    Also you don’t have the correct add listing link anywhere: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation

    the permalinks are set.
    when i am not logged in, and follow the add listing link, it returns to the homepage without prompting me to log in.
    when i log in it does not send me to my dashboard. it goes back to the homepage

    also, how do i add place, business,event? is that another plugin?

    what am i missing?

    im feeling a little lost.
    there are 2 areas to set permalinks….settings in the admin dashboard and settings in the GD theme.
    I think the setting are right in the theme.

    im sorry. can you give me a little more instruction or provide a link to the help documentation?

    We are talking about WordPress permalinks.
