Add Listing – Menu

    Hi Team

    I wanted to know if I can change the name of the menu items in the drop down box on the add listing section.

    It seems to take the name from GD> Custom Post types > Edit (specific post type)

    It pulls the name from the Labels (i think however is it possible to change this)

    What I would like to have is the drop down to read something like “Add New Coach Listing” instead of “Find a Coach”

    Do you know that you can always create a custom menu and insert custom links http://easywpguide.com/wordpress-manual/appearance/updating-the-menu/adding-a-custom-link-menu-item/ ? Then, please see this doc to learn how to add GD links to your menu: https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs/core-design/#navigation .Well, give it a try and let us know how it goes.

    Hi Kor

    Thanks for the info but that is not the issue here. When you go to add a new listing there is a dropdown menu. This menu displays the names of the custom post types. As I mentioned before it seems to pull this name from the labels but I would like to change that

    Hi Sieko,

    That’s the name you’ve inserted in the Custom Poet Type naming labels as shown in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/enz5mx and the only way to change it would be over there. But, I’ve informed a developer and he will be adding a filter that would allow you to make changes to that “add listing” dropdown and it will be available in the next update.
