Add Listing Not Working for all users

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Do I did a base install of this plugin with wordpress 4.0 and buddy press latest version installed and for some reason only the orginal 2 administrator accounts can even view the new listing front end form. I know it has to do with an additional capability, my question is, how do you set it so ALL users can freely submit listings?

    Sounds like some buddypress restriction.
    Can you de-activate buddypress and if that solves the problem, then it would be a buddypress problem you could discuss at their forum.

    HI,

    GD will allow subscriber to add listing, there is no need to make them author.

    It appewars though that you removed/edited the add listing page.

    Can you provide wp admin credentials pls?

    I know, that’s what I thought, but I reinstalled, just wordpress on another domain, and just GD Core, got the same issue. I know it appears that way, but in the back end, it’s there, and if you login with the 2 accounts where the capability is listed, the page displays just fine. It only appears that way to all the other users and non-logged in visitors.

    You have the add listing page (plus another virtual GD page) in your trash.

    That’s why it works only for admin. Restore it and will work for all.

    Lots of user delete/edit virtual pages right after installing not knowing exactly what they are… Than forget about them.

    The 5 virtual pages should not be touched under any circumstances.

    Hopefully we will find a way to make this obvious to everyone installing the plugin for the 1st time.
