While testing the Add Listing page, I am being unable to fill any field because it automatically jumps to the location/me page.

I can not find the right setting to stop this.

This is being looked at by the developers. Please refer to your other topic.

Is this still a problem for you now?

I noticed that this behaviour was due to auto geolocation while I was in the Add Listing page, because setting “Ask user if they wish to be geolocated” caused the box asking permission to appear while I am in the Add Listing page. Is this normal?

I have the following settings in GEODIR – ADVANCED SEARCH – GEOLOCATION SETTINGS:

Disable geolocate on first load: UNTICKED

Ask user if they wish to be geolocated: TICKED

What happens is that, while I am in the Add Listing page, the small popup window asking for permission to be geolocated appeas and, if I say “Yes”, the location/me page with the map with my location appears suddenly without having been able to finish to complete the Add Listing form. Of course, if I say “No”, I am able to finish to complete the Add Listing form.

If Ask user if they wish to be geolocated is UNTICKED and I enter the Add Listing page, it automatically jumps to the location/me page.

Is this the normal behaviour? If it is, then I should keep “Ask user if they wish to be geolocated” TICKED, but the risk that some customer clicks “Yes” without knowing exactly what he does still exists. Then I imagine that he could be confused seeing that the Add Listing page disappears and the location/me page appears and he could be annoyed thinking that any data he could have entered into the Add Listing form could be lost (by the way, it would be lost or going back in the browser will make the Add Listing form with the fiels already entered to re-appear?).

It would be a rare occasion that the first page a visitor enters is the add listing page.
Does that also happen if you already set yes or no while visiting another page first?
