Add Listing Page on Cohhe Sky Theme; Listing Directions; Single Map on Listing

    Hi There,

    I’m wondering how to modify the text on the add listing page, on the Cohhe Sky theme using geodirectory. I have tried manually searching all theme files for the text, as well as the plugin but cannot find the titles. I’ve also triedtranslating the file but cannot find the ‘place’ or ‘listing’ titles i’m trying to remove. The theme manufacturer has suggested it is code coming from the GeoDirectory plugin so I am asking your help in trying to modify the add listing page.

    Also, is there a way to enable the directions on the single listing view?

    I have also spent a considerable effort trying to display a single map listing on the map view, instead of the current view including nearby listings. Is there a modification or shortcut to make this happen?

    Please let me know if there is any more information I can provide.

    Modification of custom fields and related text on the add listing page is done at
    GD > Place settings > Custom fields

    Whatever cannot be modified there, can be modified with the translation file:

    Directions are always enabled on detail page. If they are not, then that could be theme related or some other bug. We would need your URL and admin details to have a look (you can post these in a private reply).
    Maybe you are confusing the Detail page and the listings page.
    A detail page will only have one listing on the map and directions.
    The listings (category) page has more listings and no directions.

    Sky theme modifies the detail page with thier custom code. You should ask them for support on that one.

    Let me rephrase this.

    Sky theme changes how the normal GeoDirectory listing detail page look.

    You can see it in their demo too : http://cohhe.com/demo/sky/sky-vacation/places/france/ile-de-france/paris/food-nightlife/national-constitution-center-2/

    They changed the map and removed the option to get directions.

    If you activate another theme momentarely, like 2015 for example and you visit any listing page, you will see that the map is in a tab below the image gallery and it has the get direction option.

    So it is not a bug in our plugin, it is their theme that modified an option of the plugin by removing it adn on our side there is nothing really that we can do.
