    Greetings:

I have been able to translate pretty much everything so far in my GD site from English to French, including the labels in the add listing page, by modifying PO files directly, as suggested.

Now that I am adding the multisite function by adding English as the second language with WPML, I ran into some issues with the add listing page labels (the rest looks good). These labels won’t revert back to their initial English version when I switch language to English (like the rest of the site).

I’ve gone through the forum and it was said to work it out through PO files. That’s what I’m trying to do, but in both the English & French PO file, most of the labels source strings are now in French!

This I believe is where the problem lies : there is no way I can modify the source string unless I do it directly in the php file, which I don’t want to mess with. I could do it with WPML but it doesn’t work at all, even when I attribute the right string to the right language.

    Any idea?

    Many thanks,

    Guy

    Hi,

are you sure you didn’t translate the labels from GeoDirectory >> Place Settings?

If yes, please provide a link, ftp and admin credentials and we will check your case.

    Thanks

    Hi Guy,

Looked into your site. You have not translated page “Ajouter un dépanneur” into English, that’s why the language switcher menu disappear on Add Listing page when you on English language.
I have now duplicated “Ajouter un dépanneur” for English language now language switcher back in the menu.

Let us know which particular labels are translated in English but still displays French strings.

The FTP details you provided are not working for me. It giving error “530 Login authentication failed”.

    Thanks,
    Kiran
