Add Listing with Subcategories

    I have a couple of CPT’s that have Subcategories. When I want to add a listing in the CPT’s from the frontend the select category field only show the main categories – no subcategories are shown for selection.

    How are users suppose to add their businesses that belong in a subcategory? Or is there a setting that I am missing to enable this functionality?

    Hi Stacey,
    when you select a main category, it then will show the subcategories, see attach, i first selected Feature, which has 2 subcategories

    Hi,
    I have a category which has a subcategory and then this subcategory has a subcategory. How the user can add listing there? I only see that we can add to subcategory and not to sub subcategory.

    Hello, I was able tor replicate this, and the sub-sub category is not appearing in the dropdown. For now the only solution would be to quick-edit the listing from backend.
    I will notify Stiofan about this

    Hi,
    Thank you for your help,
    I hope they wil solve this quickly as users do not have access to backend to add to sub sub category and this will block our development of the site.

    It should be noted that GD works best with just 2 levels of cats but this has been fixed and will be in the next ver.
