Add new listing: Packages issue

    1) When an user add a new listing (without registration) all works fine (listing sended to approval, listing preview ok).

    But I want hide packages from pulic form, so… in CPT custom fields settings I check “Admin only edit”. But after that, when an user send a new listing from the same form, we got this famous message: “Save failed due to invalid package! Cheating huh?”. Any idea for this issue please?

    2) Again on CPT custom fields settings: if I check the option “Display as price”, no difference appear, only packages names are displayed. What’s wrong on my process please?

    Setting it for admin only is the same as removing it from the field. That field is required and must be filled out, but can only be filled out if it is active and not admin only.

    You can hide it with CSS but that will usually hide it from every form without advanced setup.

    We have a task to look into hiding packages from the frontend but don’t have a date for that.

    Display as price is for changing the way the package is viewed on the frontend, for example as a badge.

    I understand what you mean, I only want to propose the default package when adding a listing from the form.

    Thanks Alex, but before I ask you questions, I look at the documentation, and I search the GD forums. So I understood very well what “Display as price” is for. My question is why nothing changes when I check / uncheck this option! I do not see any options regarding a badge for example.

    Both badge and gd post meta display the ID even when that option is selected. I am asking the developers about it now and they will let us know.

    Hello,

    When used with GD Post Meta output the option to display as price will add the currency symbol.

    The option to display as price is a general option present on all text type fields set for NUMBER.
