Add New Post Type

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    Hi, I want to add more “post types.” How do I do that?

    Also, I changed the listing url prefix to “directory” and it removed the map and it changed my page design. Previously when the listing url prefix was “places” it showed the map and my navigation menu, but now it doesn’t.

    I’m having a really hard time customizing all my pages. Is there a design I can follow to help explain each design component?

    To create extra post types, you can use the Custom Post Type addon: https://wpgeodirectory.com/downloads/custom-post-types/

    I am guessing that you have another page called “directory” and you are seeing that page.
