I need to use the “GeoDirectory Pricing Manager” add on and it was well as many other of the addons cause the site admin are to go 500 error.

When I go in to the FTP and rename the folder it fixes the issue but I cannot use the needed addon plugins.

    Please advise.

    Thanks,
    Hayley

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for the reply! We just upgraded to a very expensive VPS account from a shared hosting plan. To my knowledge when we upgraded to the VPS account as your GeoDirectory system requirements stated we are pretty confident we were purchasing a fully dedicated VPS hosting plan through bluehost.

I wonder if there is any way to produce a reeding to see which plugins are hogging the most resources. If it were some that we are not using or could deactivate would that solve the issue?

    Thanks,
    Hayley

I just double checked and we are on the “VPS Standard Web Hosting” plan.

I also just added define(‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘256M’); to the wp-config.php file and it seems to have allowed me to install the add ons and activate them now.

    Hi Hayley,

Thanks for letting us know. Also, try increasing the PHP resources below as much as possible.

    memory_limit
    upload_max_filesize
    post_max_size
    max_execution_time
    max_input_vars
