I am trying to add a custom field in my home page, but the “add custom field” option has a dropdown menu that only allows to add two parameters to choose. How can I add some other parameters to that dropdown list?

    An image is attached.

    Thank you

    Hi!

Maybe you mean a listing custom field? Try this one:

Alex, thank you for your reply. The link you provide is not what I meant.
I made a fresh install of GD. I install first the Directory Starter without activating. Then I install the Supreme Directory.

I am trying to customize my home page and start my website from there. Every new page I try to build, will have the “add custom field” option in the page itself, with a dropdown menu with only two options. Usually, this “add custom field” comes clear. Is this something from the Supreme Directory Theme? Where can I change that? Please help me!

    Kind regards,

    Hi,

on WordPress posts come with custom fields visible. For pages is normally hidden by default.

Click the screen options tab (top right corner of the screen) and tick the custom fields checkbox.

    That will make them appear.

    Thanks

Paolo, thank for your kind reply. But, still is not what I meant… I am sorry to insist!

If you see the screen shot attached, the option to add custom link is there, but it comes with a dropdown menu with only two options to choose. I want to add a “sub-title” to my Home page, and that is not in the options.

    Please help!

    Kind regards,

Paolo, here is a screen shot of the information you have in the documentation, and that is what I want to do.

Got you now, but that is how custom fields ever worked.

If the sub-title custom field hasn’t been created yet, you have to create it…

The enter new option is right below the select options.

    Thanks

Dear gentlemen, I need your assistance in editing the the default header that appears in every “new page” I create.

I know I can change the image in the “featured image” section, but I can’t find the way to edit the other elements…

I have attached an image to illustrate it better.

    Thank you

    Hello,

You can hide those with CSS if you like. Please make a new topic and share a link and we can provide you with example CSS
