adding custom posts and events

    I have the event plugin to add events and now want to make it so I can have people add something under a custom post type but how do I get it so people can do that. When people click add listing it goes to the event listing. Is there another page for add custom post type? Or maybe I set up the event wrong or am missing something.

    (Also I can’t seem to post in any other forum section. I was going to put this under custom post types but can’t post there even though I have a license. It says you can’t post without a license.)

    Hi Julie,

    each custom post type (events included) have their own unique URL for the add listing page.

    Examples:

    https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_place
    https://wpgeo.directory/supreme-directory/add-listing/?listing_type=gd_event

    The only difference being the last variable: gd_place vs gd_event.

    You can find the link to add listing pages in Appearance > menu under GD endpoints.

    As far as your membership goes, I see your renewal made in August, but for some reason you appear as free user in the forum. I see you have another user and that may be the cause of the issue, but only Stiofan will be able to clarify that and he’s off for the weekend.

    He’ll fix your account 1st thing on Monday.
