Adding new users

    Hi, I’ve read through the documentation but am not clear on the signup process for new listings.

    I just did a test and setup
    Your login Information :
    Username: l.mac@telus.net
    Password: ***********
    You can login here: login

    Login link goes to http://www.bigpacific.com/sunshine-coast-businesses/gd-login which instantly redirects to http://www.bigpacific.com/sunshine-coast-businesses/

    No login. How do I get the user to the login page and then to their new listing set up or claimed listing?

    Hi,

    that is because the user is already logged in.

    The link is to remind them for future references.

    If I visit the login page of your website now (that I’m not logged in), I see the signup and login forms.

    I think I figured it out – the system was duplicating the add listing via geodirectory setup > design > navigation. I unchecked the nav boxes there and built the menu in appearance > menus. Now I need to see how to add Add Accommodation Listing to the menu. Let me know if I am doing it backwards.

    Hi,

    you can do it either way.

    Via GD >> design >> navigation (make sure to add it once)

    or via Appearance >> Menu using a custom link.
