    Hello

I was just wondering if there is a way the user can choose what emails they would or would not recive from geodirectory/wordpress etc is there a way for me to add an opt out within emails ? or is this best left alone

    Thanks

    Hi Riki,

Thanks for your post. You can refer to this section of the documentation for your reference https://wpgeodirectory.com/docs-v2/geodirectory/settings/emails/

    Thanks

No, there are not options for that.
GeoDirectory only sends specific emails to listing owners that have created or paid for a listing. These are known as ‘transactional emails’ and are not generally ‘opt out’ as they are required for the functioning of the application.

If a listing owner does not want to receive email inquiries from third party users visiting the site then they would simply remove their email address from the listing.

Ok thanks a lot people, I thought as much but thought I would check, Ive had some company like google, hotmail think my email address was spamming and aparently there are a few things you can do to make them think your ok other than the usual its good to have an unsubscribe option but your right its only for the creator of the listing so not an issue.

    Thanks
    Riki
