Advanced Search invisibly auto-open by default, no "cog" Icon Needed

    Is there a way to do this? Basically my client just wants a page where you select what you’re looking for and then hit “Search” for it to send you to the next page which will be the map. Yes, it can be done by clicking the “cog/gear” to the right of the search bar, but that’s now how he wants the site to look or function. I would like the radio buttons and checkboxes to show automatically and for the cog/gear to be hidden. The second part I can do easily with CSS, but I’m not sure how best to have that auto-open when the page loads.
