After adding user to listing, listing doesn't show as claimed

I’ve been trying to assign users to their listing manually by choosing “Quick Edit” on the back-end GD listing page and adjusting the author from the dropdown menu.
After saving, the list is updated to show newly assigned author, but when I go to the detail page I still see the “Listing Owner?” link in the sidebar (I was expecting to see “Verified Owner”).

I have already temporarily changed all users to “Author” as was advised in a previous thread: https://wpgeodirectory.com/support/topic/user-in-wp-not-showing-up-in-wpgeodir/

Is this a bug, or am I assigning owners to listings incorrectly?

That is not the correct way.
You also have to edit the listing (not quick edit) and change the Claimed status in the right sidebar.

OK, that works great—thanks!
Is this something that can be added to the import/export feature in the future? I’ve imported nearly 120 listings and editing the Claimed status one-by-one will take quite a bit of time. Granted, this only needs to be done once when migrating to your plugin, but this will be a big problem for those migrating a larger userbase.

Hi Jimmy,

I added a task for the developers to make sure that, if you add a column “claimed” in your csv file and set 0 or 1 for each listing, it will be imported.
