Anyone can register setting

    Basic installation #4 says that you should enable the “Anyone can register setting”. But I don´t want businesses to register for the directory. Does that mean that GEOdirectory will not function if I do not enable that setting?

    Hi Pepita,

    Thanks for your post. Disabling the “Anyone can register setting” will only prevent registrations on your Website which is required for your users to create a business listing. A workaround would be to do this manually by creating the user account on your Website backend. GD will still function without issues.

    Thanks Kor. I do not want users to create a business listing, so I do not need that option. Was confused because the set up says you HAVE to check that option for the system to work properly. Properly is a relative term I guess.
