Anyone tried BackupBuddy?

We have moved to a support ticketing system and our forums are now closed.

    I am looking for a nice backup solution and I am thinking to try BackupBuddy.

    I ask them if it will backup without any problems Geodirectory.

    Their answer:

    “If your custom tables have the same prefix as the tables tied to your site, they will be included in the backup.”

    I am not sure if it will work flawless.

    Anyone used already? If so, does it work fine?

    We recommend using a solution from the host as opposed to a plugin.

    We don’t recommend an backup plugin in particular.

    Other members may have used that one, though, and can share their opinions here.
