    Hi,

    Another documentation related question.

    Api Documentation says
    “General Options
    API
    Select whether or not to enable the REST API. To use Geodirectory the API must be enabled.”

    So what does the API do and why must it be enabled. My current settings are: enabled, no keys.

    Why would I need the API?

    The GD Map Element passes queries over the API to fetch data. If the API is disabled maps will stop working.
