Are CPT Fields Stored as Standard Custom Fields?

I’m using the Content Views Pro plugin to display GeoDirectory custom post types in a masonry grid. Everything works fine except it has a feature to display custom fields that doesn’t seem to work with GD. It is able to see things like overall_rating and rating_count so I assumed all was well but I don’t see anything related to the address (I want it to display the city and state).

I reached out to them and they asked me to ask you how you store the city and state fields, thinking maybe you stored it with a different name, or maybe you didn’t store it as a standard custom field.

Are they stored as standard custom fields?
