Hi Guys,

What would be involved in asking for “phone number” on signup page?

Finding some people signing up but not creating adverts and would be nice to be able to call them and follow the lead.

Hello Adrian, what you can do is to use a third part plugin for registration/signup (such as profile builder https://wordpress.org/plugins/profile-builder/ )
GD uses the WordPress login/registration system, not custom.
What you can do eventually is to redirect the login page, as said in the documentation
